Our Story
About the Club
The Kissimmee Walk & Run Club started with a simple idea: showing up is easier when you don't have to do it alone.
Whether you're chasing a 5K PR, getting back into movement after a break, or taking your very first lap around the park—you belong here.
This isn't about pace. It's about progress, connection, and creating a space where everyone feels comfortable showing up exactly as they are.
You'll find friendly faces, encouraging energy, and a community that meets you where you're at—every single time.
Who it's for
Walkers, joggers, runners — every age, every pace, every season of life. Come with a friend or show up solo — either way, you won't stay a stranger for long.
When we meet
Every Saturday at 7:45 AM (weather permitting — sign up to stay in the loop!). We start together, move at our own pace, and finish together.
Where we meet
Kissimmee Lakefront Park at the Ruby Plaza Cafe — a beautiful, welcoming space with scenic views and routes for every pace.
What to bring
Water, comfortable shoes, and yourself — exactly as you are. We'll take care of the rest.
FAQ
Do I need to be in shape to join?
Not at all. This group is for getting in shape, staying consistent, or simply enjoying movement. We have walkers, run/walkers, and runners — and we always regroup so no one gets left behind.
How do I stay updated?
Sign up for emails on our website and follow us on Instagram and Facebook. That's where we share reminders, updates, and everything you need to know before each meetup.
Is there a fee?
Nope — completely free. Just show up.
Can I bring my kids or stroller?
Absolutely — family-friendly routes are part of the rotation.
